1. Liability & Legal Disclaimer

  • Greene County Ads and its owner(s) act only as a platform for local listings.
  • We are not involved in transactions between buyers and sellers at any time.
  • Users are solely responsible for verifying items, services, and counterparties.
  • All listings and communications are at the user’s own risk.
  • No warranties are expressed or implied.
  • By using this site, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Greene County Ads and its owner(s) from any claim, loss, or liability resulting from your use of this site.

2. Purpose

Greene County Ads provides a simple, local classifieds space for Greene County, Ohio residents and nearby businesses to post lawful listings.

3. Acceptable Listings

You may post ads for:

  • Group activities, Church events, Weddings, Funerals, etc.
  • Personal items, yard sales, bake sales, or vehicles you own (car dealer businesses are welcome upon proof of business).
  • Local jobs, gigs, or services.
  • Lost & Found notices, lost pets etc…
  • Rentals or housing within Greene County.
  • Hunting, fishing, or outdoor gear excluding firearms and ammunition.
  • *Some military surplus is accepted, please contact us before posting.
  • Any other lawful products or services compliant with local, state, and federal law (it’s on YOU to know what is legal and not legal to post or purchase).

4. Prohibited Content

Ads can be rejected or removed at any time for any reason.

Ads will be rejected or removed if they include or promote:

  • Drugs, narcotics, paraphernalia, or controlled substances.
  • Firearms, ammunition, explosives, or weapons, except for non-firearm hunting gear (bows, crossbows, knives).
  • Illegal, stolen, or counterfeit items.
  • Adult or sexually explicit content.
  • Discriminatory, harassing, or defamatory material.
  • Multi-level marketing, pyramid, or “get rich quick” schemes.
  • False, misleading, or fraudulent claims.
  • Content violating laws or the rights of others.
  • NOTE* If you try to post something prohibited, we will not hesitate to notify local Law Enforcement about it.

5. Moderation

  • All listings are subject to review before publication.
  • NOTE: There are no refunds for ad postings, if you do it incorrectly, we will not refund your $2.00.
  • Greene County Ads reserves the right to edit, reject, or remove any ad at any time for any reason.
  • Repeat or severe violations will result in a permanent posting ban.

6. Payments & Ad Duration

  • Each standard ad runs for 14 days from the date of publication.
  • Expired ads are automatically unpublished.
  • Renewals require a new $2 re-posting fee.
  • Payments are non-refundable once an ad is reviewed and published.
